Greetings Proscenia Film Society movie goers!
We started Proscenia Film Society in 2018 and partnered with the Mayflower Arts Center to help bring movies to Troy.
In 2018, we sponsored 28 diverse movies including such community favorites as Hocus Pocus, Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, The Room, The Florida Project, Vertigo, and our Sunday Matinee Creature Feature Series.
We were happy to help entertain you in 2018 and we are excited to continue entertaining you in 2019.
To help with your scheduling, we have set our movies to be the first and third Saturdays and third Sunday of each month (with some minor changes due to scheduling conflicts.)
Season 1 of the Sunday Matinee Creature Feature Series is over (it’ll be back!) and we start a new Sunday Matinee Series in 2019. The new Sunday Matinee Series is Sunday Matinee Foreign Film Series and we kick it off with a screening of Pan’s Labyrinth on Sunday, April 20.
Can’t wait until April for a PFS experience? Don’t fret! We have some Saturday movies scheduled for you before then.

Though they initially seem completely at odds, the pair bond over Lily's contempt for her oppressive stepfather, Mark, and as their friendship grows, they begin to bring out one another's most destructive tendencies. Their ambitions lead them to hire a local hustler, Tim, and take matters into their own hands to set their lives straight.Director: Cory Finley. Starring: Olivia Cooke, Anya Taylor-Joy, Anton Yelchin
